British technology innovation set to deliver a more punctual railway
A new delay-busting Traffic Management system on the Great Western Railway will boost performance on train journeys between London Paddington and Bristol Parkway. The Digital Railway Programme has teamed up with Network Rail’s Western Route and the British signalling and train control specialists, Resonate, to trial the ‘Luminate’ Traffic Management System that could see reactionary delays reduced by up to 15%.
