Digital Railway : Delivering Differently 2018
You are invited to take part in a unique rail industry event – Digital Railway: Delivering Differently – in July. The event will be over the afternoon/evening of the 2nd July, followed by a full day on the 3rd July. Attendance is free and delegates will learn more about the Digital Railway strategy which was launched recently by the Transport Secretary Chris Grayling MP and Network Rail’s Chief Executive Mark Carne.
About the event
With the announcement that all new trains and signalling will be digital or digital ready from 2019 the pace of modernisation is set to increase dramatically. The Railway Industry Association working in conjunction with Network Rail and the University of Birmingham is hosting this event to explore what this will mean for the supply chain and examine the early plans for Digital Railway deployment in CP6.
The University of Birmingham will explain how it is supporting innovation in the rail sector and there will be networking activities to enable you to meet colleagues from Network Rail, the supply chain, rail operators and other key stakeholders from across the industry.
Attendees are encouraged to take part in the whole event and as a result, it will not be possible to book a place for a single day only.
